[ Nena was, as usual, sprawled out all over her bed. She was vaguely aware that it was a bit... lumpier than usual, but her half-asleep mind decided it must be pillows or the blanket all bunched up-- she was an active sleeper and woke up with her covers all over the place most mornings-- so rather than being bothered she automatically made herself comfortable on it. ]

[Shiro always slept on his front, usually with some sort of creature lying on top of him. Sometimes it was his littlest brother, sometimes it was a cat or three, but he was used to being used as a huge cushion.

Not by something so heavy, though.]
