Nena arrived in Iwatodai in a back alley by the station to avoid notice, dressed in a skirt, tights, and short wool coat. Walking out into a more public area, she put her hands on her hips, looking around for any sign of Junpei. "Guess we should have set a more specific place to meet, huh..." Due to the fact that he knew the area better than she did, she didn't want to get lost, and he was the guy and supposed to do the work anyway, she found a place that put her in good view of the area and settled down to wait.

"Nah, it's no big deal," he said, forcing a smile. "I've got enough to deal with, fighting the Shadows."

Hoping to change the subject away from aliens and the end of the world, he pushed his plate towards her to offer her another bite of the cake. It was pretty good, but he didn't mind sharing it if it saved him from thinking about his own impending doom.

"You want some?"

"Yes!" she declared, reaching forward and spearing a piece with her fork, easily distracted by the prospect of someone offering her something.

"This place is really good," she said after chewing and swallowing. "I think this is the best cake I've had in ages!"
