RL with Mikaela: the 'Tieria's a Dick' club
Nena was sat at the table, chin in her hands, staring at the cake.
He must have snuck in last night somehow and left it there. It didn't seem like the kind of thing someone who would pull a dick move like leaving right on your birthday would do. And plus, she was pretty sure he didn't even like her.
It was pink, and had pink writing, and some kind of sparkling sprinkles on it. It was exactly the sort of cake Nena would have wanted, if she'd gotten one herself. It even had strawberry ice cream in.
But he didn't even like her.
And so she sat there, confused and upset and angry, glaring at the cake as if she was going to set it on fire with her eyes.

She scowled down at the table then, a new thought in her mind. "Why her? I'm better at programming than she is and he likes you, so why her?"

"I don't know," she muttered, running one hand through her hair. "I'm sure he's got some stupid reason for it that he thinks makes sense." Her frown turned into a scowl. "One he won't bother to tell us unless we drag it out of him."

Mikaela had no problem accepting that she was upset, clearly.

"Tieria," she finished with a shrug, her lips pressed into a thin, unhappy line.

Changing tracks, she narrowed her eyes and said, "If you ever tell anyone that I'm moping over cake because of Tieria, you'll be sorry! It's just because I want to go back too, got it?"

"Guess he doesn't like that idea too much, huh?" she asked between giggles.

"Oh god," she gasped. "Springer? R-really? At least they-- don't throw-- chairs anymore, right?"
